An aluminum honeycomb panel provides light-weight rigid support for the painting. This panel was first covered with padding and a beige cloth. The painting was humidified with vapor from an ultrasonic humidifier and then flattened under plexiglass for several days. The painting was then stitched to the wrapped support panel, taking care to avoid painted areas. Tiny stitches secure the painting around its perimeter and are scarcely visible.
